Special teams have been formed to look out for Tollywood actress Neetu Agarwal in connection with her alleged role in the red sanders case. An FIR was registered against the actress after police found that money was transferred to red sanders smugglers from her account. Police immediately freezed her account and sent a team to Hyderabad to arrest her, but found her house closed.
Sharing the detail, a senior investigating official said, “We added her as an accused in the FIR. She is a conspirator in the case and is absconding. We are looking for her to question her in the red sanders case”.
Investigating officials are also trying to probe if producer and red sanders smuggler MastanVali married the actress. He was arrested a fortnight ago. “Mastan Vali was married thrice. His first wife lives in Mutyalapadu in Chagalamarri and his second wife has deserted him. We are trying to confirm the information that he had married Neetu and had been living with her. Our information is that he had gifted her flat, a car and a bike in Hyderabad”, the police official said.
Neetu Agarwal has worked in the movie "Prema Prayanam", which was produced by Mastan Vali. According to police, Mastan allegedly invested the ill-gotten money in the film. The movie, however, miserably failed at the box office.
